RRC 2019 10k Completed!

[Post 13/05/19]

Wow! What an amazing and successful day! This year 320 people crossed the start and finish line to take part in our race.

We have all been working really hard behind the scenes to try to make this our best race yet, and with the weather on our side also, this year we managed to surpass all previous years.

We hoped you enjoyed it as much as we enjoyed hosting it!

A massive congratulations to first male and female runners home: Lee Taylor and Lindsey Colman (both of Southend AC) in very impressive times of 35:47 and 39:43 respectively.

This year our medals came in gold/silver/bronze depending on how far down the field you finished. The first 50 runners were lucky enough to take home the gold.

Thank you to our sponsors (Golden Cross CO-OP, Run Active store in Leigh, Mark One Hire and UKA), Ashingdon Primary School, Gibbon’s Farms (use of the private land and mowing the grass for the race), Marshalls and Volunteers, Local Residents, and also to everyone who made a donation and helped us raise money for St Helena’s Hospice!
